The research aimed to determine whether the intensity of solar radiation influences the normal vegetative development of aloe, grown in climatic conditions of the Loreto region, having developed the study in a particular research center. The main factor of study is the percentage of shading, with four treatments under study: T1 = 50% shading, T2 = 35% shading, T3 = 65% shading, T4 = 0% shading. The Unrestrictedly Random Design (DIA) was applied, with 15 replications. The experimental units are homogeneous (each pot is an experimental unit). Two parameters were evaluated: Growth characters and Performance characters. According to the results obtained from the statistical analysis according to the analysis of variance and the Tukey test, the hypothesis of the researcher: H1 = There is an effect of the percentage of shading on the behavior of the aloe plant; It is concluded that the intensity of direct light when handled with 35% mesh shading in hours of increased solar radiation improves the performance of aloe with greater length, diameter and weight of basal leaf; The quality and performance of the basal leaves are greater, uniform coloring, compact texture with better gel consistency.
