higher education responsible for training teachers, doctors and specialists at the highest level. Today, this is the largest institution of its kind in the city of Iquitos, both for its infrastructure as well as their seniority and prestige. This project is entitled "Analysis and Design of Infrastructure for Networking and Communications Postgraduate School Jose Torres Vasquez UNAP" and its main objective interconnection of all functional areas of the Graduate School of the University National of the Peruvian Amazon, the process for which a comprehensive analysis of the needs of access and transmission of voice and data between areas of the institution, in addition to designs in which solutions to network problems are the subject found was performed . By Design Network Infrastructure and Communication, all interconnecting computer equipment and also communicate verbally allow between areas, provides solution to the problems besetting the Graduate School in order to perform smoothly and efficiently academic and administrative activities. For the development of this project Top-Down methodology was used, which gives us a series of steps in order to propose solutions regarding the Analysis and Design, which first had to identify the organizational units and the amount of computer equipment operating within them, organizing them in general, and then group them into segments. In regard to the security of the network, is proposed in the draft a series of procedures that should be taken into consideration, and respect to logical security is proposed the use of Active Directory, Using VoIP Phones, to protect unauthorized access to the resources available in the network (PCs, databases, Internet access, printers and others) access. That by the Analysis and Design of Network Infrastructure and Communications voice and data is achieved make adequate interconnection network for all existing computing equipment in different areas of the Graduate School of the UNAP.
