In order to determine the effect of the inclusion of the EM-Shrimp probiotic on the productive performance and parasitic index of gamitana fingerlings during 90 days, 1000 fingerlings weighing 2.06 g and length of 3.81 cm on average were distributed in 12 pens in ponds. of land, at a density of 2 fish / m2. Extruded food of 28% PB, including the EM-Camarón probiotic, was supplied by the spray method, with a feeding frequency of 2 times a day. A completely randomized design was used with four treatments (T1 = 0 mL, T2 = 50 mL, T3 = 100 and T4 = 150 mL EM-Shrimp / kg) with three repetitions respectively. Biometrics (weight and length) of the fish and monitoring of water quality (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide, alkalinity and ammonium) were carried out every two weeks, using a freshwater limnological kit. Productive indices were calculated: length gain (GL), weight gain (GP), daily weight gain (GPD), biomass gained (BG), apparent feed conversion index (ICAA), specific growth rate (TCE) and survival (S); and parasitic indices. At the end of the study, the results show that there was no significant difference (p> 0.05) in length gain, apparent feed conversion index and survival, between the treatments; while, the final weight, weight gain, daily weight gain and biomass gained registered significant differences (p <0.005), being the treatment T3 (100 ml EM-Shrimp / kg. of feed) the one that had better results compared control and other treatments. Likewise, there was no significant difference between the parasitic indices of the treatments including probiotic and the control.
