The present investigation is determined to determine if the various modifications to the articles corresponding to Crimes against the Patrimony of the Penal Code, make decrease or increase the commission of this type of crimes. Information was collected from the National Police of Peru - Iquitos and the Public Prosecutor's Office, fiscal district of Loreto, from 2006 to 2016, corresponding to the periods of government of former presidents Alan García and Ollanta Humala, but was later included the information from 2001 to 2006 that concerns the stage of Alejandro Toledo's government. The information obtained was analyzed and from the result it can be affirmed that the crimes that have been committed the most are those of Theft, Robbery. Scam, Damage and Usurpation, being the annual growth rate for the latter of 5.2% at a rate of 40.8 crimes per year. For the crime of Simple Harm, there is a rate of 1.3% at the rate of 34.8 crimes per year. Scam grows 3.7% per year with 103.3 crimes. Aggravated robbery grows 0.3% per year, with 20.3 crimes. Simple Theft grows at a rate of 1.3% per year with 217.2 crimes. Finally, Aggravated Theft grows 0.7% with 116.5 crimes per year, the latter also having an accumulated of 17,088 crimes in the three periods of government. It is concluded that the amendments to the Criminal Code in relation to crimes against heritage, do not reduce the number of crimes committed, but increases the commission of this type of crime.
