Immunostimulatory activity of aqueous extract of Myrciaria dubia H.B. K Mc Vaughn, known as "camu camu" in the laboratory facilities of Toxicology and Legal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry – UNAP was evaluated. An experimental, prospective and longitudinal study was conducted by the endothelial reticulum test Delaveau in Hotzman strain albino rats, with average weight to 200 ± 30 g body weight. It was based on 4 experimental groups of 10 animals each one: 1 negative control group, 1 positive control group and 2 experimental groups, then the lyophilized extract and Control substances were administered for 5 days orally. After 24 hours of the last dose, were administered 0.5 ml. of methylene blue solution 10% in the caudal vein to quantify lymphocyte activation after the 1st, 3rd, 6th and 24th hour. The greatest lymphocyte activation was obtained in 74.90% and 76.52% to 5% and 10% (w / v), respectively, in 24 hours compared to negative control. In the positive control group, is evident a higher percentage of activation to the 3rd hour with a value of 78.97% compared to the negative control. It concluded that the aqueous extract of Myrciaria dubia H.B.K Mc Vaughn "camu camu" contains properties that stimulate the immune system.
