Hábitos alimentarios, nivel socieconómico y su relación con el estado nutricional en preescolares de la Institución Educativa n° 366 y la Institución educativa San Juan Bautista de la Salle, 2017

Abstract

Esta investigación estableció la relación entre hábitos alimentarios y nivel socioeconómico con el estado nutricional en preescolares de la I.E. N° 366 (ubicada en el centro poblado de Rumococha – carretera Sta. Clara Km.2) y la I.E. San Juan Bautista de la Salle (ubicada en la zona urbana de la ciudad de Iquitos), ambas pertenecientes al sistema educativo público. La investigación se efectuó el año 2017 y es de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, de diseño correlacional. La población total estuvo formada por 167 estudiantes menores de 5 años, y la muestra fue de 80 para la I.E. N° 366 y 57 para la I.E. San Juan Bautista de la Salle. Se utilizaron encuestas, pesado, tallado e instrumentos como la báscula digital de pie, tallímetro y el hemoglobinómetro. El procesamiento de los datos obtenidos se realizó empleando el programa estadístico SPSS v22. Los resultados obtenidos en la Institución Educativa N° 366, según el indicador antropométrico P/E, muestran que 91.3 por ciento está en el rango Normal, 7.5 por ciento con Desnutrición y 1.3 por ciento con Sobrepeso; según T/E, 82.5 por ciento presentó Talla Normal y 17.5 por ciento Talla Baja; según P/T, 100 por ciento fue Normal y según el indicador bioquímico hemoglobina 66.3 por ciento se encontró Normal, 1.3 por ciento con anemia moderada y 32.5 por ciento con anemia leve. Mientras que, en la Institución Educativa San Juan Bautista de la Salle, según P/E, se encontró 94.7 por ciento con normalidad y 5.3 por ciento con sobrepeso; según T/E, 96.5 por ciento presentó talla normal, 1.8 por ciento talla baja y 1.8 por ciento talla alta; según P/T, 91.2 por ciento se encontró normal y 8.8 por ciento con sobrepeso; según el indicador bioquímico hemoglobina 94.7 por ciento fue normal y 5.3 por ciento fue de anemia leve. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre los hábitos alimentarios y el nivel socioeconómico con el estado nutricional en preescolares de las Instituciones Educativas N° 366 y San Juan Bautista de la Salle.

While, at the San Juan Bautista de la Salle Educational Institution, according to P / E, 94.7% were found to be normal and 5.3% were overweight; according to T / E, 96.5% presented normal size, 1.8% short stature and 1.8% tall stature; according to P / T, 91.2% were normal and 8.8% were overweight; According to the biochemical indicator hemoglobin 94.7% was normal and 5.3% was mild anemia. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between dietary habits and socioeconomic status with the nutritional status in preschool children of Educational Institutions N ° 366 and San Juan Bautista de la Salle.
