This research was conducted at the Cattle project of the Faculty of Agronomy (Fundo de Zungarococha), National University of the Peruvian Amazon where we offer a range of seed detachment and its effect on agronomic traits in different forage cutting times Zea mays DOW hybrid in Zungarococha 2B710. Spacings of 0.8 mx 0.1 m, 0.8 x 0.2 m, 0.8 x 0.3 m, 0.8 mx 0.4 m and 0.8 mx 0.5 m, assessments were performed at 60 and 90 days after sowing, plots 2 mx 10 m were used area and total area of 1034 m2, established in an Ultisol. The experimental design was a design randomized complete block (RCBD) with five treatments and four repetitions, the treatments under study were: T0 (0.8 mx 0.1 m), T1 (0.8 mx 0.2 m), T2 (0.8 mx 0.2 m), T3 (0.8 mx 0.4 m) and T4 (0.8 mx 0.5 m). For the variable of green matter plant at 60 and 90 days treatment T1 (0.8 mx 0.1 m), achieving the best result with 4.21 kg / m2 and 6.70 kg / m2, being the second T2 (0.8 mx 0.2 m) with 3.97 kg / m2 and 6.42 kg / m2. For the variable plant dry matter at 60 and 90 days treatment T1 (0.8 mx 0.1 m), achieving the best result with 0.94 kg / m2 and 1.89 kg / m2, being the second T2 (0.8 mx 0.2 m) with 0.88 kg / m2 and 1.85 kg / m2. We have a dry matter forage production of 18,500 kilos / ha at 90 days, with T1 (0.8 mx 0.1 m) treatment.
