In the present study, pharmacotherapeutic follow-up (SFT) was carried out in patients with seropositive rheumatoid arthritis (ARSPO) through home visits. The objective of the study was to evaluate the use of antirheumatic drugs through pharmacotherapeutic follow-up and clinical evaluation in patients with seropositive rheumatoid arthritis at Hospital III-Iquitos, EsSalud 2019. The research according to the purpose was of a quasi-experimental type of correlational, prospective design, longitudinal. 39 patients with oral treatment of methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine sulfasalazine, and leflunomide participated, who underwent pharmacotherapeutic follow-up (DÁDER method) for six months, identifying 39 drug-related problems (PRM), with qualitative effectiveness being the most frequent. (59,0%), followed by quantitative effectiveness (20,5%); A significant reduction in C-Reactive Protein (p = 0,000); rheumatoid factor (p = 0,000) and pain intensity (p = 0,005) was obtained. The use of antirheumatic drugs through SFT reduces serum levels of CRP and RF, as well as reduces the intensity of pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
