The present thesis, Its objective is to develop a model that allows understanding the behavior of the variables associated with improving the quality of service to the user of external consultation in health facilities in Iquitos. The research was applied, quantitative, transversal, explanatory and does not experimental. The field work was carried out in 8 iquitos health centers and the population consisted of 750 outpatient users, aged 15 and over attended in the health establishments of the Ministry of health, health, health and clinics, who through a questionnaire were investigated on their perception of the care received and the main problems encountered in the context of universal assurance in health(AUS). The information collected was evaluated with a model of structured equations by means of a factorial analysis, with the purpose of identifying the variables that impact on the satisfaction of the user with respect the service received by the external consultation in the health establishment. Likewise, the program SPSS version 22.0 was used for the descriptive and factorial analysis and the software IBM SPSS AMOS for the design and processing of the model of structural equations and obtaining the results and for the presentation of results we worked with the Business Intelligence. In conclusion, with the model of structured equations it was possible to identify the variables that most impact on the level of satisfaction of the user of external consultation. Likewise, the sociodemographic level(educational level and income range), the waiting time for patient care, the treatment received by the administrative, non-medical and medical personnel, significantly impacted the level of satisfaction of the external user.
