The present research study was conducted in order to determine the prevalence of asymptomatic bacteriuria and the resistance profile in uroculture of pregnant women Hospital III EsSalud, Punchana 2018. The method used was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective. The accessible population consisted of 97 pregnant women who were treated at Hospital III EsSalud, Iquitos, Punchana and San Juan respectively. The instrument used was a data collection form. The data was analyzed through the statistical package SPSS version 12.0. The statistical Fisher test with a level of significance α <0.05 was used for the variables age, place of origin, parity, weeks of gestation, previous urinary infection and gestational diabetes, likewise to determine the association with the isolated bacterium and antibiotic resistance. The findings indicate that a prevalence of 6% was found, which is close to the upper limit of normality, for international statistics; no statistically significant association was found with the variables age, place of origin, parity, weeks of gestation, previous urinary infection and gestational diabetes; Regarding the bacteria isolated in urine culture, Escherichia coli was found in 56.60% of the total sample, followed by Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, in 6.19%, and others between 3. 09% and 1. 03% respectively. Regarding antibiotic resistance, 68.8% of the bacteria are resistant to Trimetripin / Sulfamethaxazole, 70.1% Ac. Nalidixico, 60.9% Norfloxacin.
