The present aims at determining the relation between the level of knowledge, attitudes and spare practices of Hepatitis B in the helping staff of the Hospital III Essalud. Iquitos 2012. The used method matched not experimental, descriptive and correlational. The population was constituted for 150 helping workers of health. The employed instruments were used they were three: A questionnaire of 20 questions to compile information about the level of spare knowledge on hepatitis B, the scale type Likert with 14 items, to measure the attitudes toward the prevention of hepatitis B and the application of an intervening check list the direct observation of abilities and skillful actions of the staff of health, on prevention regarding hepatitis B. The analysis of the information himself I sell off EXCEL and SPSS in statistical parcels version 20, the participants signed Informed Consent. To find it was relevant than of the 150 helping workers of health, 73 % presented inadequate knowledge, 55 % referred unfavorable attitudes and 64 % accomplished preventive practices made suitable on hepatitis B. A significant association between level of knowledge came across attitudes and also another finding was the statistical association between the variable level of knowledge and spare practices (p 0, 0000001), p 0, 05. The results exposed of level of inadequate knowledge relating to the attitudes and spare practices in the helping staff of health, they deserve his tracking and re-evaluation.
