The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity in vitro by the macrodilution method for hidroalcoholyc extracts of Curcuma longa (Guisador). The sample was collected in Nina Rumi community, Loreto - Peru, the sample was identified taxonomically in the Amazonian Herbarium, National University of the Peruvian Amazon (UNAP), and was deposited for preservation in the laboratory phytochemical of the Faculty Pharmacy and biochemistry and in the laboratory of Food Engineering Pilot Plant located in the UNAP. The phytochemical screening of hidroalcoholyc extracts rhizome of Curcuma longa evidenced the presence of phenols, Bitter beginnings, mucilages and triterpenes; Besides he contains starch and acetite escencial for the study of antibacterial activity in vitro by the macrodilution method for hidroalcoholyc extracts was used Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 bacteria. Aftermaths of the minimum inhibitory concentratión of extracto hidroalcoholyc extracts rhizome Curcuma longa he went of 16 mg/ml in Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 and 8 mg/ml compared with Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Considering inactive and few antibacterial activities Regarding these bacterias.
