The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between information management and communication with work performance in the Iquitos César Garayar García Contingency Hospital, 2020, since the research was of a quantitative approach, of a correlational descriptive type and not experimental, the which took a sample of 105 collaborators, who were surveyed, concluding that the management of information and communication is regular, since sometimes the staff is instructed on the purpose of the suggestion box, interviews are rarely conducted, from time to time the institution has a welcome manual. On the other hand, the level of job performance is regular, since employees seldom perform the entrusted work efficiently, they do not know all the functions that correspond to their job, they are rarely interested in learning and investigating new topics, and they are seldom responsible for the delivery time of the work entrusted to them. In general terms, information and communication management is significantly related to work performance at the Iquitos César Garayar García Contingency Hospital, with respect to the evaluation carried out in 2020; which is corroborated by a considerable positive relationship (Spearman's Rho) of 0.900 and a (two-sided) significance of 0.000.
