This research aimed to determine the association between the quality of nursing care and the degree of satisfaction of external user, treated at the Health Center San Juan de Miraflores I - IV, district of San Juan Bautista, 2016. The quantitative method, not experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design was used. The population consisted of 370 external users and the sample 129; to collect data was applied two instruments: Registration form Quality nursing care, with a validity of 97,33% and 93,7% reliability on humane treatment, 88,4% in clarity of information, 89,7% in standardized nursing care, and the Checklist on user satisfaction, with a validity of 96% and 89,3% reliability. The information processing was performed using SPSS, version 22.0, for Windows XP, with a confidence level of 95%, and less significance of 0,05 (p < 0.05) to accept the hypothesis. In univariate analysis of quality of nursing care, 89,9% was obtained in good care punctuality, 72,9% of high human treatment, 81,4% of clarity in the high information, standardized care 67,4% mid-level nurses and 56,6% in satisfaction he felt dissatisfied; bivariate analysis was performed using inferential statistics using the non-parametric statistical test -b of Kendall, obtaining as results, significant statistical association between: timeliness of care and satisfaction (p = 0,018326; p < 0.05 ); humane treatment and satisfaction (p = 0,000529; p < 0.05); clarity of information and degree of satisfaction (p = 0,000221; p < 0.05); standardized nursing care and satisfaction (p = 0,001218; p < 0.05).
