The effect of two diets as a dietary supplement on the growth and survival of Macrobrachium rosenbergii shrimp larvae cultivated in the laboratory was evaluated between January and February 2019 at the Las Palmas - Tarapoto Shrimp facilities, San Martin Region. The experimental design was a completely randomized design (DCA), it consisted of two treatments and a control with three repetitions, using diets of 58% PB = T1, 55% PB = T2 and a control of 60% PB T3 used by the company, providing the diets on the sixth day of hatching, 900,000 Macrobrachium rosenbergii larvae with an initial length and weight of 2.8 mm and 0.06 g were used, fed twice a day. Likewise, larval development time and water parameters were evaluated. At the end, average length and weight values of 13.99mm, 051g for T3 were obtained, followed by T1 and T2 with 12.11mm, 048g and 11.78mm, 0.46g. finding significant difference in weight when performing the ANOVA analysis of variance showing a sequence of T3> T1> T2 that means that the T3 treatment had greater weight gain; but better survival was recorded in T1 with 85.03% followed by T3 with 70.84%, and T2 with 50.67% assuming with this, T1 and T3 are better for larval rearing of Macrobrachium rosenbergii. Regarding larval development, it was observed that the passage from one stage to another occurs when at least 50% of the larvae changed to the next stage, identifying all the larval stages until the first postlarva sample at 23 days. The physical and chemical parameters of the water recorded were: average temperature of 28.76 ͦ C; Maximum pH of 8.1 while the minimum value of 7.8; while oxygen with an average value of 4.6 mg / l, likewise, the alkalinity had an average value of 82.32 mg / l; and the salinity was maintained at an average value of 14 ppm being within the optimum range. Concluding that the diet made with tilapia fillet + squid can be used as a complement to nauplii of Artemia sp. during postlarva production.
