The present investigation work "hours of sunlight in the vegetative development of aloe vera in Iquitos. Loreto - 2017 ", was carried out under conditions of climate of the tropical rain forest. The main factor of the study is the period of daylight hours (06 hours and 12 hours (group control 1 = plants they received half a day of sunlight; group control 2 = plants received sunlight throughout the day).) The aim main was evalue if the hour of sunlight period influences the behavior of the vegetative development of Aloe Vera. The design of the research is real experiment, with two treatments and 28 replications. Aloe Vera plants raised in pots containing loose soil, organic matter and poultry manure, slurry was uniform for each experimental unit (plastic pots). Comparison independent of the distribution of Student "t" test was used in the analysis of the results and the U Mann Whitney. Analysis concludes that the period half day (06 pm from direct light) presents higher incidence in the characteristic of plant height, plant diameter and number of leaves per plant of tillers per plant (p-value < 0.01); Meanwhile, basal leaf length, width of basal leaf, leaf, basal diameter, number of tillers per plant and basal leaf weight are indifferent to the period of light (p value > 0.05); However in the period of 12 hours of direct light basal leaves showed a slight increase for weight, consistency more compact gel and hardness of the cladode, but with dark yellowish brown hues and Burns at the tips; However, in the period of 06 hours etas basal leaves are light green uniform shades.
