The research had as an objective to determine the association existing between psychosocial factors and predisposable behaviors towards anorexia in teenage women from 3° to so grade from Sagrado Corazon High School, in lquitos, 2012. The method for this research was Quantitative, the design was non experimental of a descriptiva (correlaciona!) type. 168 teenage women were previously tested through simple probabilistic sample at random, applying four instruments: The selfesteem test with a content validity of 8S% and reliability of 80.07%, depression test with a content validity of 8S% and reliability of 7S%, family APGAR with a content validity of 8S% and reliability of 82% and the valuation test of disposable behaviors towards anorexia with a content valid"1ty of 85% a reliability of 95%. The purpose was to respond to the given hypothesis, "There is a statistically significant relation between psychosocial factors such as, self-esteem leve!, type of depression, family functionality) and (predisponentes) behaviors towards anorexia in teenage women from 3° to S0 grade from Sagrado Corazon High School, in lquitos, 2012, and the general result is that it does not exist a statistically significant association between self-esteem level (P < S.63 < a O.OS) and family functionality (P < 1.82 < a O. OS); which indicates that the hypothesis of the research is not accepted. On the other hand, it exists a statistically significant association between depressive symptoms (P < 000 <a O.OS), for which the hypothesis of the research is accepted.
