The consensus document on pharmaceutical care, supported by the Ministry of Health of Spain, defines Custom pharmacotherapeutic monitoring as "professional practice in which the pharmacist is responsible for the patient's needs related to drugs. This service involves a commitment and must be provided with continuous, systematic and documented in collaboration with the patient and other professionals in the health system in order to achieve concrete results that improve the quality of life of patients "(1) .The most common pharmaceutical intervention was patient education to increase adherence to treatment (46%). the results show that the intervention of pharmaceutical Chemistry, pharmacotherapy monitoring by improving adherence to treatment in chronic patients. The Pharmaceutical Chemistry was able to improve aspects of compliance and patient beliefs about treatment and disease through intervention. Besides pharmacotherapy follow improves quality of life as health outcome in the patient; pharmaceutical intervention was significant on the scales of physical function, mental health and cognitive function. (2) Objective. Perform assessment of pharmaceutical intervention by pharmacotherapeutic monitoring in adult patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis with biological therapy treated at the Regional Hospital of Loreto during the months of July to October 2014. Methodology. The research design used was: Descriptive, prospective, correlational and Transversal. The sample consisted of 72 people aged 40 to 65 with 100 mg treatment Infliximab, Etanercept Adalimumab 10 mg and 25 mg during the months of July to October 2014in-the-Regional-Hospital-of-Loreto. Results. Evaluations were predominant in the Women sex with a 75.0% compared to male sex with 25.0%; Also in prescription drug Infliximab 100 mg, in the range of 51-60 years with 29.2%. With the medication Infliximab 100 mg according Need to solve a negative result of the medication was a 26.4%. Also the drug was more effective Infliximab 100 mg with 30.6% considering the problem related to drug (PRM). In relation to pharmaceutical intervention increased pharmacological intervention strategy with a 24.0% exists by drug therapy Infliximab 100 mg and noting that patient education with 7.6%. Regarding the comparison of the effectiveness, the greater the pharmaceutical intervention to improve health quality patient there more effective pharmacotherapeutic monitoring by a 30.6% using the drug Infliximab 100 mg, noting that occurs in the intervention pharmacological approach to the patient with greater emphasis 17.0%. Conclusions. The drug more effectively by pharmacotherapeutic follow up with a 30.6% is Infliximab 100 mg, compared to the drug Adalimumab 10 mg by pharmacotherapeutic follow with 25.0% and etanercept 25mg drug by the pharmacotherapeutic follow with 19.4%.
