The present research aimed to establish the difference in conductometry with Propex Pixi and Woodpecker electronic apical locators in in vitro uniradicular premolar teeth. The population and sample was conformed by 20 extracted monoradicular premolar teeth, less than one year old. The research was of quantitative type, non-experimental design, transversal, descriptive, comparative. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were applied to the data, whose results were applied the Wilcoxon t statistical test. The results obtained by means of Wilcoxon's t test were, that there is significant difference between the conductometry performed with LAE Propex Pixi and Woodpecker (P=0.005); there is significant difference between the conductometry performed with LAE Propex Pixi and the anatomical conductometries (P=0.035); there is significant difference between the conductometry performed with LAE Woodpecker and the anatomical conductometries (P=0.020). 10% of the measurements with the Propex Pixi ELA are located 0.5 mm from the anatomical foramen, 45% of the measurements coincide with the anatomical foramen and 45% of the measurements exceed the anatomical foramen by 0.5mm; 40% of the measurements with the Woodpecker ELA are located 0.5 mm from the anatomical foramen, 55% of the measurements coincide with the anatomical foramen and 5% of the measurements exceed the anatomical foramen by 0.5mm Concluding, at a confidence level of 0.05, that there is a significant difference between the conductometries of the Propex Pixi and Woodpecker LAE
