Educational swimming programs allow a teaching-learning process, in which adolescent boys and girls develop not only the motor part, but also the cognitive and socio-affective part, with the intention of forming autonomous, creative people, capable of solving the challenges they face in life and, at the same time, to combat sedentary lifestyles. The study was conducted with the general objective of evaluating the effect of the swimming educational program on body development in students in sixth grade of primary school at the Educational Institution 60496 Mariscal Oscar Raimundo Benavides, Iquitos 2019. The methodology was with quantitative approach, experimental type and pre-experimental design. The population consisted of 128 students of the sixth grade of the institution, for which an experimental group was chosen with a pre-test and a post-test, without a control group. In this sense, the sample of the experimental group was constituted by 60 students, divided into 3 groups: Sixth A, Sixth B and Sixth C. Obtaining as a result that the swimming educational program has a positive effect on body development in students of sixth grade of elementary school in the Educational Institution (p-value = 0.000 < α= 0.05). It was concluded that the swimming educational program has a positive effect on body, socio-affective and physical development.
