The research entitled Family social climate and social skills in sixth grade students of the Public Primary Secondary Education Institution for Minors N ° 60024 – San Juan de Miraflores – 2019, whose main objective was to determine the degree of relationship between the climate Family social and social skills in sixth grade students of the public primary secondary educational institution for minors N ° 60024 – San Juan de Miraflores – 2019. The research methodology was of a basic type of correlational descriptive level, the design non-experimental, non – experimental cross – section. The study population consisted of 125 male and female students. To collect the information and evaluate the family social climate, the Family School Social Climate Scale (FES), by Moos, R., H., Moos, B., S., & Trickett, E., J. , (1989) and for the variable social skills the Checklist and evaluation of social skills, by Goldstein, A. Sprakfin, R. Gershaw, N. & Klein, P. (1989), for the hypothesis test the Sperman's Rho correlation coefficient. As a result of the research, a significant and very high positive relationship between both variables was obtained, obtaining the correlation value = 0.861, with the level 0.01, in conclusion, there is a direct, positive and highly significant correlation between the family social climate and the social skills of the study subjects.
