This research Word was carried out with the purpose of relating the dietary habits and the nutritional status of patients with pulmonar tuberculosis treated in 4 health centers of the city of Iquitos (Morona Cocha, San Juan Bautista, Cardozo and October 9). We perfom anthropometric measurements to determine the nutritional satatus of patients acoording to the nutritional status of patients according to the body more index (IMC), also we applied surveys to know the socieconomic characteristics and dietary habits of patients. Of the total de 79 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who participated in the study, 58,2 were nale, predominantly cases of pulmonary tuberculosis in the age group under 30 years 32,9 % the largest housewife (46,8%), patients who practice inadequate eeting habits predominated (63,3%). The highest percentage of patients presented normal nutritional status (54,4%). according to the IMC. The study concluded that there is no relationship between the nutritional status and dietary habits of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, since patients probably ingest supplementary protein foods that were not evaluated, since most of them receive nutritional counseling and adhere to the PAN TBC program.
