The present research work was developed in the PS1 station, in the area of the pipeline, within the activities developed by the company D.P.I. in ANTAMINA S.A.C, department of Ancash province of San Marcos district of Wari. The objective of the work was to identify hazards and evaluate occupational hazards in the pipeline area of Antamina; to thereby establish control measures; For this purpose, a methodology of quantitative descriptive type was applied, since the causal relationship seeks to describe or approach the problem; On the basis of the following results and conclusions were obtained, the safety management carried out by the Antamina Mining Company was first analyzed, resulting in deficiencies in the safety management, according to the matrix of hazard identification, risk assessment and the IPERC methodology was applied, identifying occurrences of accidents within the pipeline activity. The field evidences show that the proposed methodology is effective since it allowed the hazards, risks and controls to be easily established. And highlight that the management tool IPERC Continuous, based on a national labor safety regulation according to the reality and the type of work, will improve the risk conditions and occupational health of workers in different areas of the country.
