The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the variables age, sex, marital status, education level, occupation and socioeconornic status and patient satisfaction with post surgery nursing carereceived en the Department of Surgery. Since, the observed during the development of our pre-professional training, the Department of Surgery - Iquitos Hospital "César Garayar Garcia", 2012. Quantitative method was used, Population and Sample was established by 53(100%) patients that were operated mediate. Data were collected using a filing card to identify associated variables and a questionnaire to determine the level of patient satisfaction, whose validity was 89% and reliability 83%. The information was processed using the SPSS software statistics V.l8.0. The results obtained: that 84.9% (45) patients said they were unsatisfied with their care. No significant association with variables associated: sex, marital status, education level, occupation and socioeconornic status found with patient satisfaction post operated by Care Nurse, which hypothesis is rejected.
