OBJECTIVE: To determine the perception of the quality of care of postpartum patients by vaginal delivery of the Regional Hospital of Loreto, 2019. METHODS: The type of study used was prospective, observational, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive. The sample consisted of 157 postpartum patients due to vaginal delivery, treated in the obstetrics service of the Regional Hospital of Loreto, during the month of June 2019. A questionnaire was used as an instrument to measure the level of perception of the quality of care of the postpartum patients treated at the Regional Hospital of Loreto. RESULTS: In general, after the evaluation of postpartum vaginal postpartum patients, it was obtained that 87.3% have a good perception, 7.6% had a regular perception and 5.1% had a bad perception, regarding to the quality of care. The question item where the majority of patients scored with a high score was the one that during their hospitalization received a medical visit every day and, with the lowest score was the lack of hygiene in hospital bathrooms. CONCLUSIONS: 87.3% of the women treated in the obstetrics service of the Regional Hospital of Loreto, have a good perception of the quality of care. The puerperal women who expressed a bad perception of the quality of the obstetrics service (5.1%) were mainly women between 18-35 years, secondary education, cohabiting, housewives and from the Punchana district and who did not present co-morbidity.
