The research work was carried out in the Vacunos Project of the Faculty of Agronomy of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, entitled "Dose of cow dung composted with effective microorganisms and its effect on the forage yield of the maralfalfa grass (Pennisetum sp.) , in Zungarococha, Iquitos - 2016 ", the amounts of fertilizer was taken with reference to extreme points that requires fodder. The evaluations were made on the eighth week after sowing with vegetative seeds (bushes), with experimental units of 6 m2 of area, established in an Ultisol soil. We used the Complete Randomized Blocks Design (DBCA), with five treatments and four repetitions, using the statistical package of Inforstart, the treatments under study were: T0 (0 tons of Compost Cattle Dung with effective microorganisms / ha), T1 (10 tonnes of Compost Cow Dung with effective microorganisms / ha), T2 (20 tonnes of Compost Cow Dung with effective microorganisms / ha), T3 (30 tonnes of Compost Cow Dung with effective microorganisms / ha) and T4 (40 tonnes) tons of cow dung composted with effective microorganisms / ha), In the present research work was obtained an average height of plant equal to 1.72 m, green matter with 6.33 kg / m2, with 1.47 kg dry matter / m2 and 94.90% of coverage in the T4 treatment, showing that the grass Penisetum sp. "Maralfalfa" has a positive response to the application of composted beef manure with effective microorganisms, being reflected in a greater forage yield.
