The current study was carried out in order to determine the determining the nutritional composition of Rhynchophorus palmarum (Suri) in its larval growth cycle by means of proximal analyzes and the lipid profile. The research was of a descriptive-comparative non-experimental type, with non-probabilistic or empirical sampling, of an international or reasoned type. This determined the nutritional composition of Rhynchophorus palmarum (Suri) in its larval life cycle, separating them in periods of 15 days, until reaching their 60 larval days, before the insect enters its pupal stage. After this, the larvae were analyzed in periods of 13-15 larval days, 28-30 larval days, 43-45 larval days and 58-60 larval days. Between these intervals of days, the proximal test was carried out and subsequently the lipid profile of the Rhynchophorus palmarum (Suri), obtaining as a result that in the youngest larval period that we analyzed, that is, in the period of 13-15 days, it is where you can’t take better advantage of the benefits higher protein content was obtained in the results (11.4%) and essential fatty acids.
