The study aimed to determine the effects of a physical activity program in the greatest servant 30 years of the National University of the Peruvian Amazon through its application in improving cardiovascular health and therefore quality of life, avoiding multiple diseases ranging from those that would preclude or generate their died. El method used was quantitative and quasi-experimental study design, the design was blues test and post-test in one group. The sample consisted of 219 subjects, the technique used was direct observation and survey. The instruments used were: The questionnaire is valid for 90.0% and 73.4% reliability and Observation Guide. Before the implementation of the program of physical activity the pretest of some indicators of cardiovascular health and physical activity and each participating server in the study was performed, showing high percentages of risk 56.2% in HDL cholesterol and 53.4 % LDL cholesterol; 36.5% of servers had systolic hypertension and diastolic hypertension 35.6%; heart rate average was 172.5 ppm. After the preventive program in the experimental group responded appropriately 100% while in the control group 43.3% responded inadequately. After the implementation of the program of physical activity we observed significant changes reflected the same percentage differences in HDL cholesterol of 18.3% and 18.7% LDL cholesterol with p = 0000 in both cases; For systolic blood pressure it was 16.9% and 21.5% diastolic these findings allowed to approve the study hypothesis and values of p = 0.000. heart rate decreased on average 14.02ppm being also significant difference p = 0.000. All these findings allowed to approve the study hypothesis "The program of physical activity improves cardiovascular health of older servers 30 years of National University of the Peruvian Amazon.
