The clinical spectrum of Dengue infection and COVID-19 shows great similarity in relation to pathophysiological events. For this reason, the present work aims to know the clinical and laboratory characteristics in pediatric patients with dengue and COVID-19 preparation, Hospital EsSalud III – Iquitos, 2020. A descriptive study was carried out in 57 patients treated. Concluding that the most frequent symptoms were fever (100%), headache (70.2%), asthenia (68.4%), nausea (66.7%) and vomiting (64.9%). To a lesser extent, it was observed that the patients presented chills (52.6%) and abdominal pain (42.1%). Loss of smell and taste were less frequent. 64.9% had leukocytes <4000 / mm3, while only 1.8% had leukocytes> 10,000 / mm3. Regarding lymphocytes, it is observed that 64.9% presented lymphocytes <1500 / mm3 and 1.8% presented lymphocytes> 4000 / mm3. Regarding neutrophils, it is observed that 64.9% of patients had neutrophils <2000 / mm3. 29.8% had eosinophils <40 / mm3 and the rest values of 40 to 500 / mm3. As for monocytes, 21% presented a value <200 / mm3, 3.5% presented a value> 800 / mm3. 17.5% of the patients had basophils <10 / mm3, 63.2% 10 to 100 / mm3, and 19.3%> 100 / mm3. Regarding hematocrit, it is observed that 71.9% of patients presented hematocrit of 35 to 48% and 28.1% a hematocrit less than 35%, 41% presented hemoglobin <12 g / dL and only 10.3 % a value> 14 g / dL. Most of the patients had platelets <150,000 / mm3.
