This research consists of developing a design of the electrical system for the industrial assembly and/or manufacturing plant of mechanical components for the heavy load transportation industry; Electrical machines and equipment operate at two voltage levels; The overhead cranes operate at 460 Volts and the others operate at 220 Volts. The limited current capacity of the feeder of the existing electrical connection, and of the electrical components, does not allow an increase in energy; that allows more energy to be available in this industrial plant for a power of 400 kW. We use the information obtained in related research and those where definitions, terms and concepts fundamental to this research are obtained. The hypothesis is raised that if the design of the electrical system prepared for 400kW would allow increasing the availability of electrical energy in the industrial plant The research is quantitative with a methodological approach that focuses mainly on the observable and measurable aspects of the phenomena. The experimental method of this research allows us to observe, identify and analyze the causes and effects when designing the electrical system. The type of research is applied, the scientific and technical knowledge, the impact is practical to generate knowledge by increasing the availability of electrical energy in the industrial plant. The initial hypothesis is contrasted, the orientation of this research is towards the result, because it will be objective, precise, with inference and verifiability. In this research, there will be a perspective of the researcher from within, immersed and/or close to the data, getting directly involved with the participants and the data.
