The general objective of the research is to describe the knowledge of the import process in the auto parts importing MYPES (Micro and Small Businesses) of Av. Huayruropata, District of Wanchaq-Cusco 2021, the methodology had a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and descriptive scope, the population The census was made up of 27 businessmen, where the technique used for data collection was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire, which was made up of 35 items. It was obtained that 37% of businessmen indicate that they sometimes comply with the requirements of the import process, while 7.4% indicate that they never do and the other 7.4% always do so; reflecting that the majority of businessmen do not carry out the import process as it should be, since most of the time the import process is carried out by a third party, however, it was also observed that a minority does carry out the import process as the owner. and know the entire procedure; In this sense, it is concluded that businessmen sometimes have the necessary documentation and carry out the appropriate procedures for the importation of auto parts, the first contact is usually mainly virtual, the majority of businessmen have poor knowledge about permits and the quality record, few maintain continuous contact with the freight forwarder and, sometimes, carry out the corresponding tracking of the merchandise. For the most part, business owners do not require receipts or records of their merchandise, which demonstrates a pressing need for knowledge and precise management of import procedures.
