Introduction: The Luis Vallejos Santoni University Stomatological Center receives a very large number of patients who present different health conditions. The monitoring of the water lines should be involved within the biosecurity norms and protocols with which the clinic works, since the water has direct contact with the mucous membranes, oral fluids and dental structures of the individual to be treated. Target: To quantify the bacteria that werw found in the water of the dental units of the Luis Vallejos Santoni University Stomatological Center. Materials and methods: a sampling was performed at the Luis Vallejos Santoni University Stomatological Center, collecting 1 sample from the water supply network, 1 sample from the pipe water supply (once the ozonator was used) and 28 samples from the triple syringes of the dental units, for a total of 30 water simples. Accordingto the parameters of the water quality regulations Heterotrophic bacteria, totales coliforms, thermotolerant coliforms and Escherichia coli were counted using membrane filtration and multiple tubes methods. The analysis of the samples carried out in the Water Laboratory of the CLAS Anta Health Center. Results: it was demonstrated that there is only bacterial growth at the level of the samples that correspond to the dental units, having a higher incidence in the growth of heterotrophic bacteria, showing that 86.7% exceed the maximum permissible limits and 13.3% are below the limits. maximum allowable reaching a total of 163331 CFU/100ml; and having as results for total coliforms 30.2 NMP/100ml; for thermotolerant or faecal coliforms 3.3 NMP/100ml and for Escherichia Coli <1.1 NMP/100ml. Conclusions: we can affirm that the samples of the supply network and of the tap water supply comply with the parameters of the water quality regulation according to DS 031-2010-SA MINSA, since both show 10UFC/100ml and 21UFC/100ml, respectively. on the contrary, 26 of the water samples from the dental units exceed the maximum permissible limits <500UFC100ml.
