Conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas de higiene bucal de gestantes que acuden al servicio de obstetricia del Centro de Salud de Manco Capac, 2022

Abstract

Objetivo: El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar los conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de hiqiene bucal de gestantes que acuden al servicio de obstetricia del centro de salud Manco Capac,2022. Material y métodos: El presente trabajo de investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo de diseño no experimental de tipo descriptivo transversal. La población estuvo constituida por gestantes en espera en el servicio de obstetricia del centro de salud. La muestra fue de 227 gestantes, la técnica fue la comunicacional de tipo encuesta, el instrumento el cuestionario el que consta de 30 preguntas el cual fue validada por juicio de expertos través de una prueba piloto, trabajando a un nivel de sig1nificancia del 95%. Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento sobre higiene bucal en gestantes presentó un mayor porcentaje en un conocimiento regular (81.1 o/o), mientras que en el nivel de actitud sobre higiene bucal de gestantes, el mayor porcentaje se presentó en una actitud desfavorable frente a la higiene bucal (82.4%), seguido por una práctica regular (50.7%). Conclusiones: El nivel de conocimiento, actitudes y practicas sobre higiene bucal fue de regular a desfavorable de las mujeres gestantes que acudieron al servicio de obstetricia del centro de salud Manco Capac.

Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the knowledge, attitudes and oral hygiene practices of pregnant women who attend the obstetrics service of the Manco Capac health center, 2022. Material and methods: This research work is of a quantitative approach of no experimental design of a cross sectional descriptive type. The population consisted of pregnant women waiting in the obstetrics service of the health center. The sample consisted of 227 pregnant women, the technique was survey type communication, the instrument was the questionnaire consisting of 30 questions, which was validated by expert judgrnent and through a pilot test, working ata significance level of 95%. Results: The level of knowledge about oral hygiene in pregnant women presented a higher percentage in regular knowledge (81.1%), while in the level of attitude about oral hygiene in pregnant women, the highest percentage presented an unfavorable attitude to hygiene oral (82.4%), followed by a regular practice (50.7%). Conclusions: The level of knowledge, attitudes andl practices on oral hygiene was regular to unfavorable in pregnant women who attended the obstetrics service of the Manco Capac health center.
