The research “LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GUILLAIN-BARRE SYNDROME IN NURSES AND MALE NURSES WHO WORK AT THE HOSPITAL REGIONAL OF CUSCO - 2021”. Whose objective was to determine the level of knowledge about Guillain-Barre Syndrome in nurses and male nurses who work at the Hospital Regional of Cusco, 2021. The research was quantitative, descriptive type and transversal. The population was made up of 90 nurses who work at the Hospital Regional of Cusco. The general characteristics obtained in the study pointed out that 40% of the population are between 41 and 50 years old, about the genre 90% are female and only 10% are male, 50% didn´t have some training about Guillain-Barre Syndrome and 54.4% work between 6 and 10 years at the hospital. Related to Information and knowledge about Guillain-Barre Syndrome, 20% of the population have poor information and knowledge, 74.4% have moderate information and knowledge 5.6% have excellent information and knowledge. Related to treatment about Guillain-Barre Syndrome 14.4% of the population have poor training, 77.8% have moderate training and 7.8% have excellent training. Related to recognition of clinical picture about Guillain-Barre Syndrome,23.3% have poor recognition, 70.0% have moderate recognition and 6.7% have excellent recognition. Related to complications due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome the research points out that 18.9% have poor awareness, 57.8% have moderate awareness and 23.3% have excellent awareness. In addition, related to knowledge about GuillainBarre Syndrome, nurses and male nurses who work at the Hospital Regional have the following data, 3.3% have poor knowledge, 88.9 % have moderate knowledge, and the remaining 7.8 % have excellent knowledge.
