The research work entitled “IMPACT OF AN EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION ON THE KNOWLEDGE LEVEL ABOUT PARASITOSIS IN MOTHERS UNDER 5 YEARS OLD.CS PAMPAPHALLA, CUSCO - 2017“, aimed to determine the impact of an educational intervention at the level of Knowledge about Parasitosis in mothers of children under 5 years of the Pampaphalla Health Center, Cusco - 2017. The methodological design that was used in the present investigation was descriptive, transversal and quasi-experimental; Applied in a sample population of 66 mothers of children under five years of the Pampaphalla Health Center. The technique used was the interview and the survey instrument. The conclusions were: Within the general characteristics of the mothers who attend the Pampaphalla Health Center, Sicuani; 40.9% of mothers with an age of 31 to 40 years were found, 28.8% of mothers had a complete primary education level, 51.5% of mothers have a housewife occupation, the 56.1% of mothers have the marital status of a cohabitant. Regarding the number of children, 56.1% had more than two children, 27.3% of mothers were from the community of Pataanza. As for the level of knowledge before the implementation of the educational intervention, 63.6% of mothers of children under five obtained a level of regular knowledge, 31.8% had a poor level of knowledge and only 4, 5% of mothers had a good level of knowledge. After the implementation of the educational intervention these figures increased to 93.9%, of mothers who obtained a good level of knowledge and 6.1% obtained a regular level without having mothers with poor level of knowledge.
