Estrés térmico y desempeño laboral en los colaboradores de la Gerencia de Logística y Seguridad en la Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito Cusco 2019

Abstract

El estrés térmico se produce por las condiciones críticas, ya sea por frio o por calor, no hay equilibrio térmico entre el organismo y el medio ambiente. Si el calor es excesivo, la temperatura corporal aumentara hasta un nivel en el que pueda ponerse en peligro la vida del trabajador. En el caso opuesto, cuando el frio es excesivo, la temperatura corporal descenderá hasta llegar también a una situación de riesgo para la vida. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar la relación entre el estrés térmico y desempeño laboral en los colaboradores de la Gerencia de Logistica y Seguridad de la Caja Municipal de ahorro y Crédito Cusco 2019. El enfoque de investigación que se empleó es cuantitativo, de alcance correlacional. El diseño de investigación es no experimental de corte probabilística - intencional, la técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y el instrumento es el cuestionario, aplicada sobre una población de 45 colaboradores. Con 95% de confianza de la prueba chi-cuadrado se concluye que existe relación significativa entre estrés térmico y desempeño laboral en la Gerencia de Logistica y Seguridad (p-valor=0,000<0,05). El nivel de estrés térmico de los colaboradores de la Gerencia de Logística y Seguridad en la Caja Municipal de ahorro y Crédito Cusco, es regular en un 76%, seguido de un 9 % que califican como bajo, mientras que un 16% califican como alto. De los resultados se desprende que predomina el nivel de estrés térmico regular. El nivel de desempeño laboral de los colaboradores de la Gerencia de Logística y Seguridad en la Caja Municipal de ahorro y Crédito Cusco, es regular en un 53%, seguido de un 29% que califican como muy bueno, mientras que un 8% califican como malo. Del 100% de los colaboradores de la Gerencia de Logística y Seguridad en la Caja Municipal de ahorro y Crédito Cusco que tiene un nivel regular de desempeño laboral, el 75% presentan un nivel de estrés térmico alto; por otra parte, de los colaboradores que tienen un nivel bueno de desempeño laboral el 67.6% de ellos presenta un nivel de estrés térmico regular

Thermal stress is produced by critical conditions, either by cold or by heat, there is no thermal balance between the organism and the environment. If the heat is excessive, the body temperature will rise to a level where the life of the worker can be endangered. In the opposite case, when the cold is excessive, the body temperature will drop until it also reaches a life- threatening situation. The objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between thermal stress and work performance in the collaborators of the Logistics and Security Management of the Municipal Savings and Credit Fund Cusco 2019. The research approach used is quantitative, correlational. The research design is non-experimental, probabilistic- intentional, the technique used was the survey and the instrument is the questionnaire, applied to a population of 45 collaborators. With 95% confidence in the chi-square test, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between thermal stress and work performance in the Logistics and Safety Management (p-value = 0.000 <0.05). The level of thermal stress of the collaborators of the Logistics and Security Management at the Municipal Savings and Credit Fund of Cusco is 76% regular, followed by 9% who rate it low, while 16% rate it high. The results show that the level of regular heat stress predominates. The level of work performance of the employees of the Logistics and Security Management at the Municipal Savings and Credit Fund Cusco, is regular at 53%, followed by 29% who rate it as very good, while 8% rate it as bad. Of the 100% of the collaborators of the Logistics and Security Management in the Municipal Savings and Credit Fund Cusco that has a regular level of job performance, 75% present a high level of thermal stress; on the other hand, of the collaborators who have a good level of work performance 67.6% of them present a regular level of thermal stress
