The present research work Impact of the Odorant Substances of the San Jerónimo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) on Environmental Quality for work at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Andean University of Cusco 2020, aims to determine the impact of odorant substances and whether it affects the environmental quality for the work of the university community. It is inevitable to deny the existence of a latent problem that occurs every day in the Faculty of Health Sciences whose university community is exposed to environmental pollution in one of its manifestations, such as the odors emitted by the PTAR San Jerónimo by its closeness to her. The research approach was a quantitative study, descriptive-correlational scope and non-experimental design - cross-sectional. The population consisted of 3500 study units divided as follows: teaching staff 200; administrative staff 39; students from the 6 professional schools 3255 study units, the techniques used were sample collection, observation and questionnaire, the final results were processed using the statistical software Excel and SPSS. The originality of this study is that it is the first related to the impact of odorant substances from the San Jerónimo WWTP that is carried out at the Faculty of Health Sciences and according to the results obtained we can determine that 88.5% of the university community states that their activities are carried out in an environment contaminated by bad odors and is related to the negative impact of odoriferous pollution, therefore it is considered that it has a potential to affect both their physical and emotional health. The general conclusion reached was the following: that the main problem affecting the university community is permanent exposure to odoriferous pollution, concluding that there is a direct and significant relationship between the impact of odorant substances on environmental quality for the work affecting the physical and emotional health conditions of the university community in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Andean University of Cusco 2020 and it was determined that 95% reliability through the Chi square statistic X2 = 177.856 can be considered as a very low positive correlation, a fact that allows us to assert in a purely technical concept that the more pollution there will be a lower quality of the environmental conditions for the work of the university community.
