The following study is entitled “The Participatory Budget and the quality of management in Public Investment Projects in the District Municipality of Pisac 2015-2016“. The main interest of the research is to explain the influence of the Participatory Budget on the quality of management in the Public Investment Projects in the District Municipality of Pisac 2015-2016. The design used in the research study is non-experimental and descriptive, correlational-explanatory type of research; the sample used is of 47 people that are distributed among officials of the municipality, councilors of the current municipality management and the community veaders of the locality, who were surveyed to gather the necessary information. The study results show that the Participatory Budget is not positively influence the quality of management in public investment projects in the District Municipality of Pisac, because this process is not an efficient means of ensuring that investment projects be prioritized for the execution of works based on the needs of the population, during the 2015-2016 study period, an execution of 05 Projects was carried out within the scope of the Participatory Budget, benefiting the population on a regular basis in their living conditions, and not achieving the economic and social development of the communities and district; this means that the quality of management of the Public Investment Projects of the municipality shows that it is not effective and efficient in serving the different sectors, and using their Public Resources equitably, reaching a good level of expenditure execution.
