The present investigation had the main objective of determining if there is a correlation between gender stereotypes and irrational beliefs in aggressors derived from family prosecutors in the city of Cusco. The study had a census-type sample of 266 people, using two instruments for data collection: Gender Stereotypes Questionnaire and the Irrational Beliefs Test. According to the research guidelines, it has a quantitative approach, correlational descriptive scope and a non-experimental cross section design. Data were analyzed with Spearman's Rho inferential statistical test (P ≤ 0.05). The results obtained show that there is a significant relationship between gender stereotypes and irrational beliefs in the aggressors reported in the family prosecutor's offices with a p-value of P ≤ 0.029 From the results obtained, it is concluded that there is a correlation between gender stereotypes and irrational beliefs in aggressors reported in family prosecutors.
