irreversibles.
Factors associated with anxiety in medical interns of the city of Cusco, 2019” Anxiety today is an emotional state that many people suffer, because they have an overload of family, social, work and academic activities. It is necessary to make a study of the level of anxiety of medical internship students, because their labor and academic work is very demanding due to the professional responsibility they assume or assume as doctors. Objectives: To determine the factors associated with anxiety in medical interns of the city of Cusco, 2019. Methods: The type of study is analytical, longitudinal of cases and controls whose design is non-experimental: The population was the students who performed their medical internship in EsSalud, Regional Hospital and Antonio Lorena Hospital of the city of Cusco. For the study, the population corresponds to interns from two universities in the region: National University San Antonio Abad of Cusco and the Andean Private University of Cusco. Results: It was determined that there is a high percentage of students with anxiety, with men being more prone than women. It was also determined that Night Guards are a very significant associated factor that can cause inmate anxiety. Living away from parents or relatives is a very significant associated factor for boarding students. Conclusions: The anxiety levels of medical interns should be taken into account, because this can later lead to disorders that are often irreversible.
