The purpose of this research was to identify the connection between attachment and emotional dependence in the female beneficiaries who received care at the Archdiocesan Center for Family Assistance – CEAFAMILIA, Cusco-2023. The evaluation of those involved was carried out through questionnaires, using a correlational methodology. The sample was made up of 200 women between 18 and 55 years old who were beneficiaries of care at the Archdiocesan Family Support Center – CEAFAMILIA, Cusco. The results obtained indicate that there is a significant correlation between attachment and codependency in the beneficiaries. Those women with higher levels of attachment tend to feel greater emotional dependence on their relationships. These findings suggest that emotional attachment may be associated with a greater need for emotional support and validation from one's partner, as well as greater difficulty functioning autonomously without the presence or approval of one's romantic partner.
