The objective of this research was to determine the need for treatments with removable prostheses in adult patients who come to the Universidad Andina´s Stomatology Clinic “Luis Vallejos Santoni“ semester 2818-I. The research has a non-experimental design. descritive scope restrospective type. For this research Project 1255 clinical histories were evaluated which 295 met the selection judgment, For data collection, the measuring instrument was design and valid. The results that were obtained in my research show that there is a need for treatment in the upper maxillary 68.5% and in the lower maxillary 76.0%. In relation to the need for treatment and sex, there is a higher prevalence of female sex with need for treatment with partial prosthesis in the upper maxillary 38.6% and in the lower maxillary 42.7%. also It was observed that there is a higher prevalence of Kennedy's class II in the upper maxillary 36.2% and in the lower maxillary 47.7%; it was also noted that there was higher prevalence of female sex that need complete prosthesis. As a conclusion; the class with the highest prevalence in upper maxillary it was class II 36.2% modification 1 = 59.3% and in the lower maxillary it was class II 47.7% modification 0 = 84.1%.
