Problem: This research analyzed the socio economic impact of the perfect suspension of work in the constitutional right to work in the tourism sector in the province of Cusco - 2021, a latent problem during the pandemic situation caused by Covid-19. Objective: The objective of this research was to identify the socio economic impact of the perfect suspension of work on the constitutional right to work in the tourism sector in the province of Cusco - 2021. Methods: The research adopted a qualitative approach, it was basic, with a non-experimental design. Information was collected from officials of the Cusco Regional Labor Management, employers who applied the perfect suspension of work and workers who were subject to this legal figure. Hypothesis: The research hypothesis was that the socio economic impact of the perfect suspension of work is negative, because it generates a violation of the constitutional right to work in the tourism sector in the province of Cusco - 2021. Results: The analyzes revealed that the socio economic impact of the perfect suspension of work generated a violation of the constitutional right to work in the tourism sector in the province of Cusco - 2021, which confirmed the research hypothesis. Conclusions: The results highlighted that this legal figure caused an effective violation of the constitutional right to work in the tourism sector, making it impossible for workers to return to their workplace, since the legal provisions that regulate it do not conform to the reality of the sector, as well as unjustified decisions by officials of the Regional Labor and Employment Promotion Management that violate this right.
