Burnout Syndrome in Internists of the EP Obstetrics, Andean University that perform clinical internship 2017. Descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative, non-experimental design research. Results: The prevalence of Burnout Syndrome in the Internal School of Obstetrics that is performed clinical internship is 76 years, the general characteristics is the average age of 22 years, minimum age found is 21 years and the maximum age is 30 Where Burnout Syndrome is present in 58% in children under 23 years, followed by 32% between the ages of 23 and 25 years; Marital status is 90% and 76% as single in obstetrics, with presence or absence of Burnout Syndrome respectively, as well as marital status in 20% and 10% in the case of women with obstetrics with absence And presence of Burnout Syndrome respectively; The occupation is presented as a student in 87% in the absence of Burnout Syndrome, 65% of the interns who have this syndrome students, followed by 31% who have independent work a difference of 13% in interns with absence of this syndrome; 84% and 100%, respectively, for the internal ones with presence or absence of the Burnout syndrome, respectively, without children. However, internal obstetrics have children (12%) or 2% (4%) have Burnout Syndrome. The levels of emotional exhaustion is 69% achieved a high level; the levels of depersonalization is 69% obtained a high level; Personal achievement levels of 8% were high. Conclusion: Burnout syndrome is present in the inmates of Obstetrics, the dimension most affected by emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.
