The present research work aimed to analyze to what extent business intelligence is a determining factor of sustainable development in rural recreation in the province of Andahuaylas, 2023. The study corresponds to a quantitative approach, of basic research type, with a crosssectional non-experimental design of causal correlational scope, the study sample was constituted by 109 collaborators, which was selected randomly. The survey technique was used, the instruments were validated by an expert judgment, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.872 and 0.765 of reliability, for business intelligence and sustainable development respectively. The results showed that the country recreation of the province of Andahuaylas appliesn business intelligence in 74.3%; with a bad level, followed with 18.3% of regular level. While sustainable development presents an importance of 46.8% of medium level; 45% of low level and 8.3% of high level in rural recreation. A significant relationship was found between business intelligence and sustainable development in the rural recesses of the province of Andahuaylas, with a p-value = 0.000<0.05, where business intelligence has a direct impact on sustainable development in the rural recesses of the province of Andahuaylas. Andahuaylas with 51.7%. According to Kendall's Tau technique, the dimensions: information systems, innovation and decision-making process have a significant impact on 36.3%, 33.1% and 38.1% in sustainable development.
