The passage of pipes in structural elements is inevitable in some projects that allows them to perform the services in an appropriate manner, so it will be essential to use pipes, which must be located in the location that does not drastically alter the mechanical properties of concrete. beam structures of building construction. The main objective of the present investigation is to analyze the proportions of the mechanical properties that differ in percentage: Acting shear force, resistance to shear force along the longitudinal axis and how is the failure mode subject to bending, of a joist reinforced concrete with standard dosage f'c = 210Kg / cm2, compared to a concrete joist reinforced with 1 “and 2“ SAP PVC embedded pipe with treatment and without surface treatment, evaluated at 14 and 28 days. Cylindrical (briquettes) and prismatic (joists) concrete specimens were made, cured in a period of 14 and 28 days, to which they were submitted to the Compression Resistance tests according to the standard (ASTM C39), Resistance to Flexion according to standards (ASTM C78) and resistance to shear force subject to bending (RNE E0.60). At the end of the investigation, the resistance property analyzed (Flexural Resistance and Resistance to the Cutting Force subject to Flexion) concludes that the reinforced concrete joists embedded with 1 “and 2“ SAP PVC pipe have a reduction in the magnitudes of its mechanical properties, with respect to the reinforced concrete joist pattern with standard dosage. Affirming that a reduction in shear strength subject to bending less than 5.00% and 18.00% was obtained for reinforced concrete joists embedded with 1 “and 2“ pipe respectively, with respect to the standard reinforced concrete joist. These results are of great importance for the construction process of a beam in lightened tiles.
