Objective: The objective of this research work was to determine the evaluation of knowledge about management protocols and biosafety in dentistry against COVID 19 in students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Andean University of Cusco 2022 Material and methods: This research has a quantitative approach of non-experimental design of a cross-sectional, descriptive type. The population consisted of all the students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Andean University of Cusco in the semester 2022-I. The survey technique and the questionnaire instrument were used, which consisted of 20 closed-type questions, which was previously validated by expert judgment (CVCt= 0.91553819, validity and excellent agreement) and reliability through a test pilot (Cronbach's Alpha 0.76= good reliability). A final sample of 240 students was obtained. The data was collected virtually and analyzed in Microsoft Excel to later be interpreted in frequency tables and percentage graphs according to the objectives set. Results: It was obtained that the evaluation of knowledge about management protocols and biosafety in dentistry against COVID-19 a rating of regular (75.4%), and in its dimensions: against processes prior to face-to-face care in consultation and the methods For dental care personnel, a regular evaluation was obtained (55.4% and 58.3% respectively) and against procedures in disinfection and sterilization of dental instruments and contaminated surfaces and clinical procedures in each dental specialty obtained a low level (50% and 67.9 % respectively), a slight difference was found in the processing dimension prior to face-to-face care in consultation according to sex with a power of 2% and in the clinical procedures dimension in each dental specialty according to semester with a power difference of 22%. Conclusions: The students of the Professional School of Stomatology of the Andean University of Cusco have an evaluation of regular knowledge regarding management and biosafety protocols in dentistry against COVID 19.
