The research entitled: Clinical and personal characteristics of children from 2 to 10 years of age with dengue, attended at the Mazuco Health Center, Puerto Maldonado from July 2016 to July 2017. Its objective was: To determine the Personal Characteristics and Children's clinics from 2 to 10 years of age with dengue, attended at the Mazuco Puerto Maldonado Health Center from July 2016 to July 2017; The methodological design was descriptive and retrospective, with a sample of 113 preschool children, the technique used was the observation and the instrument of a documentary record. RESULTS: 39.6% of children are 2 to 3 years old, 54.9% are male and 45.1% are female; 34.1% are the fourth child, 51.6% who come from the community of Coshimba; 45.1% their level of schooling is the crib and nursery. Of the clinical characteristics we have: 62.6% were diagnosed with a dengue episode in the year; in 97.5% the infection was caused by mosquito bites; 78.0% of children had a temperature between 37.5 and 38 ° C; 96.7% presented general discomfort; 3.3% present slight general malaise; 49.5% of children with dengue had no appetite and 22.5% had a normal diet during the illness; 70.3% of children diagnosed with dengue presented intense headache; 38.5% presented moderate vomiting and 26.5% did not present vomiting during the illness; 73.2% had severe muscle pain during the illness; 47.6% had moderate hemorrhage during the illness; 58.2% of preschool children with dengue remained hospitalized for 1 to 3 days; 48.4% of preschool children diagnosed with dengue were treated orally and parenterally; 62.6% of children and preschool children with dengue lasted more than 7 days, 51.5% had laboratory tests with the presence of thrombocytopenia; 87% of the population presented with classic dengue, 17% presented with hemorrhagic dengue.
