Background: The Regional Hospital of Cusco (RHC), through its A&E, provides care to user and non-user population of the Integrated System of Health (ISH), whose demand has increased significantly and where logistical conditions have not seen much change in the last years; which puts in its quality of attention into question. Our objective is to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and user satisfaction of Emergency Service of the RHC. Methods: An Analytical Transversal Study was carried out in 370 users, including companions, who attended the Emergency Service of the HRC, during March 2019. A SERVQUAL survey was applied, after informed consent. An univariate analysis was carried out to describe the characteristics of the dimensions of user satisfaction. A bivariate analysis was performed to identify potential associated factors and their statistical significance through the calculation of the OR, 95% CI (0.0-0.0), p = 0.00. Results: The overall dissatisfaction with the attention received from the HRC was 88.2% and according to the dimensions studied was: Reliability (88.2%), Responsiveness (89.26%), Security (87.57%), Empathy (87.7%), and Tangible Aspects (90.74%). Being a user of the service and responding to the survey, being female, being ISH insured, and being a new user of the service are found factors that were associated with the overral dissatisfaction of the emergency service in the HRC. Conclusions: The evaluation of overall satisfaction and satisfaction according to the dimensions studied shows that almost 9 out of 10 participants showed dissatisfaction with the care received in the Emergency Service of the HRC, which calls for concern and requires to take action to overcome this insufficiency as soon as possible, this includes the elaboration of a project for continuous quality improvement with the participation of users.
