This research work is to carry out the comparative evaluation of resistance to flexion and costs; for different thicknesses of Flagstone with embedded dry Board on joists concrete with reference to a concrete joist traditional. Has as objective fundamental, the determination of the thickness that contribution greater resistance to the flexion to the use different thickness of stone laja embedded in joists of concrete. Has been submitted 72 beams of concrete; divided into four groups of 18: pattern joists, joists with 1 “of Flagstone, joists with 1 1/2“ stone slab and joist with 2 “stone slab; tests of resistance to flexion and evaluation of costs. Also, to ensure the quality of the concrete, is carried out trials of resistance to the compression the amount of 32 briquettes; making a total of 104 submitted specimens. After make the evaluation comparative, analysis and processing of them results obtained, is managed to corroborate the hypothesis General, determining is that the thickness of stone laja embedded of 2 “, is which brings greater resistance, also increases the cost of way considerable, showing thus the objective general of the present research.
